Helpful answers
Before we restore your floor.
Straightforward answers to the questions customers ask most often.
How much does floor restoration cost?
Every quotation depends on material, area, condition, old coatings and the finish required. Photos and approximate measurements help us provide useful initial guidance.
Can you identify my floor from photos?
Often, yes. A close-up, a wider room photo and an image of an edge or damaged area can help us identify the likely material.
Does natural stone need sealing?
Many porous stones benefit from a compatible penetrating sealer. The correct treatment depends on the stone and where it is used.
Can scratches and dull patches be removed?
Many wear marks can be reduced by diamond honing and polishing, although the achievable result depends on depth and stone type.
Will the work create lots of dust?
Most wet restoration processes are designed to control dust. Extraction also removes dirty water and residues as work progresses.
How long does restoration take?
Small rooms may be completed in a day, while larger or more complex restoration can take several days. We explain the likely schedule with your quotation.
Do you move furniture?
The best preparation depends on the room and item. We will explain what should be removed and what can be managed on site.
Do you work commercially?
Yes. We handle suitable retail, hospitality, office and managed-property floors and can discuss scheduling to reduce disruption.
