1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website, request a quotation or instruct Stone Doctor Northwest to carry out tile, grout or natural-stone cleaning, polishing, repair, sealing or restoration work.
2. Quotations and bookings
Initial guidance based on photographs or descriptions is provisional. A quotation may be revised where the surface, size, access, previous coatings, damage or required treatment differs materially from the information supplied. A booking is confirmed only when both parties agree the scope, price and date.
3. Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, suitable access, electricity and water where reasonably required, and identify known defects, previous treatments or sensitive areas. Unless agreed otherwise, valuable, fragile and movable items should be removed before work begins.
4. Existing conditions and results
Natural stone and older tiled floors vary in composition, wear and previous treatment. We will use reasonable skill and care, but cannot guarantee removal of every stain, scratch, etch, crack, lippage mark or historic defect. We will explain material limitations where reasonably identifiable.
5. Cancellations and access
Please provide reasonable notice if a booking must change. We may charge reasonable costs where work cannot proceed because agreed access or preparation has not been provided. Any specific cancellation or deposit terms included in your written quotation will also apply.
6. Payment
Payment is due as stated in the accepted quotation or invoice. Additional work will be discussed and agreed before it is undertaken wherever practicable.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for defects and risks that could not reasonably have been identified before treatment.
8. Website information
Website content is general information and is not a substitute for an assessment of the actual floor. Images are illustrative of the services offered and results will vary by material and condition.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain all rights provided by applicable consumer law.
